In this day and age, finding the perfect partner is no joke as it’s a tedious process. Sometimes it just clicks when everything starts falling right into place but many unlucky individuals might have to go through tons of trouble just to find the right match. Well, controversial preacher, Zakir Naik is apparently, making his son’s life easier as he took to Facebook to look for a wife for his son, Fariq Naik!

Perhaps the fact that he posted a lengthy resume on his Facebook page might not seem appealing to fellow Malaysians but what’s shocking is that his place of residence is indicated as Putrajaya. So, this means that Zakir Naik and his family are living in Malaysia after all the fiasco of his homeland, India seeking extradition rights over him.

Before we diverge away from the main topic at hand, let’s talk about Zakir Naik’s matrimonial advertisement for his son. His post reads, “I am looking for a wife for my son Fariq, a virtuous Muslim Girl of good character, such that my son and his wife can be a source of guidance and strength for each other. If you are the father or relative of a girl you think is eligible, and who agrees to look into this, I would humbly request you to respond to this post with the required information.”

This post has since garnered more than 5,000 shares and was shared over the weekend, attached with a WhatsApp number in his post for interested parties to send a detailed biodata/CV of the girl. Yikes! This seems worse than a job interview.

Zakir also asked those interested to send in a list of qualities she is looking for in a husband. As per Zakir’s words, Fariq is described as a 27-year-old man with wheatish complexion, 170cm tall and has strong Islamic inclination, of good character, humble, kind and compassionate. Among the requirements that were essential for the prospective applicants would be the fact that the girl is willing to settle in Malaysia.

Well, albeit Zakir Naik’s controversial situation in Malaysia, we wish him all the best in finding a suitable bride for his son. It might not be the most conventional method given his popularity and fame amongst some of his fans but perhaps, he’s trying to broaden the search for a wife for his son.
