We have a date – finally!
As you may recall, during our interview with Hardwell when he was here in Malaysia a couple of months back, we asked him about his debut album and he said “It’s gonna be released 100% in January 2015!”.
Currently the world number #1 DJ as voted on DJ Mag‘s Top 100 DJs poll, Robbert van de Corput, best known as Hardwell has finally confirmed the date for the release of his debut studio album. The long-awaited new full-length studio album from the Dutch superstar follows the first North American appearance of his worldwide “I Am Hardwell” tour.
Titled “United We Are”, the album is set to be released on January 23rd, 2015. Hardwell has confirmed this date via Facebook on a post revealling that the last track on the album, a collaboration with Mr. Probz, is completed.
In addition, the album will include the single “Young Again” featuring Chris Jones, released earlier this year, and the collaboration with W&W and Fatman Scoop titled “Don’t Stop The Madness”, which has been an essential track in Hardwell’s sets this past summer.
The album release will be followed by a massive “United We Are” tour, set to kick off at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam on January 24th, 2015. As we wait for his album, here’s “Young Again”:
UPDATE (7th Jan):
The full tracklist for Hardwell’s “United We Are” has been released via iTunes. So far, we can only preview one track, which is the Hardwell and W&W ft. Fatman Scoop collab. We were also pleasantly surprised to find that Hardwell has worked with Amba Shepherd again for the title track, “United We Are”. He last worked with the Australian singer-songwriter for his massive hit song, “Apollo“.
