After getting a captivating remix from Flume earlier this year, Lorde’s “Tennis Court”, receives even more love from Diplo. The globetrotting American DJ/producer was one of the first big artists to give the Grammy winner a co-sign and based on their social media presences, the two have remained friends throughout her highly successfully journey into pop’s A-list.
Strengthening their friendship even more, Diplo has just released his “Andre Agassi Reebok Pump Mix of “Tennis Court,” the opening track from Lorde’s breakthrough album Pure Heroine. Teased on Diplo’s Instagram back in May, the DJ puts an interesting spin to Lorde’s down-tempo/hip-hop electronic infused track.
Diplo being Diplo, infused an incredibly melodic sequence accompanied by groovy baselines and a bouncy riff that has a timeless ’80s and 90’s feel to it. Extremely addictive, his remix definitely makes for the perfect summer tune.
