Moxy Hotels, part of Marriott Bonvoy’s portfolio of more than 30 hotel brands, announces its Niseko debut with the opening of Moxy Niseko Village. Located adjacent to the Niseko Village Gondola, the 310-room hotel brings Moxy’s bold, social spirit to one of Japan’s premier powder-skiing destinations, with seamless ski-in/ski-out access and year-round opportunities for adventure.
The opening reflects Moxy Hotels’ continued expansion into destinations where travelers seek authentic experiences, flexibility, and opportunities to connect. Niseko’s year-round appeal, global reputation, and adventurous character make it a natural fit for the brand, with Moxy Niseko Village bringing its playful, social energy to the region through an approachable, design-forward experience rooted in the destination.
Inspired by Hokkaido’s landscapes, the hotel combines Moxy’s contemporary aesthetic with Japanese craft and pop culture. Its design concept, “the craft of play,” brings traditional elements to life through colourful Kawaii-inspired styling, nostalgic objects, and artwork reflecting Japan and Niseko.
At the heart of the hotel, Moxy Bar provides a lively social hub, complemented by Moxy Bar & Cafe and Moxy Grab & Go for all-day food and drinks. Guests can also stay active at Moxy Gym, open 24/7, or unwind at the outdoor foot onsen after a day outdoors.

Located within Niseko Village resort at the base of Mount Niseko Annupuri, the hotel also offers direct access to the region’s renowned winter sports and green-season activities. New Chitose International Airport is approximately two hours away, while JR Niseko Station is 10 minutes away. The opening also coincides with the launch of a new eight-person gondola in December 2026, which will double uplift capacity and improve access to more than 30 kilometres of ski terrain.
Moxy Niseko Village is positioned as an energetic and approachable base for exploring Hokkaido, combining modern comfort and convenient connectivity with opportunities for guests to connect with fellow travelers and to experience Niseko year-round. Moxy Niseko Village is Moxy’s fifth hotel in Japan, following locations in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto, marking the brand’s debut in the country’s alpine resort market.
