Netflix’s “K-pop Demon Hunters” has once again shown that the hype is far from fading. A special Sing-Along version of the film was recently released on the streaming platform and in selected cinemas across the United States, featuring appearances from several cast members.
The team now has even more reason to celebrate, with “K-pop Demon Hunters” officially claiming the No. 1 spot as Netflix’s most-watched film of all time! Here’s how some of the voice actors and singing talents behind the characters reacted to the milestone:
Arden Cho & EJAE (Rumi)

The voice actor and singing talent behind the main character, Rumi, also took to Instagram to celebrate the milestone. Arden Cho expressed her gratitude to fans for their overwhelming support in helping to make history. “I’m so grateful. We did this together. 💜 You are all incredible — we’re dancing, celebrating, and united in this moment,” she wrote.
Meanwhile, EJAE, who provides Rumi’s singing voice, shared the news on her Instagram Stories, adding that the film’s soundtrack had also reached the top spots on the Billboard charts.
Kevin Woo & Alan Lee (Mystery Saja)

Former U-KISS member Kevin Woo, who provides the singing voice for Mystery Saja, marked the achievement on Instagram, writing: “WE SEALED THE HONMOON!!! THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO MADE THIS DREAM POSSIBLE!”. His speaking counterpart, Alan Lee, also reflected on the milestone, describing the film’s success as a highlight of his career.
May Hong & Audrey Nuna (Mira)

In typical Mira fashion, the voice actor and singing voice for the visual and main dancer of HUNTR/X, May Hong and Audrey Nuna, kept it simple, with the former quoting lyrics from “How It’s Done” on Instagram stories, and the latter simply resharing it on her own page.
Ji-young Yoo & Rei Ami (Zoey)

Ji-young Yoo, who voices Zoey, kept her celebration simple by reposting Sony Animation’s Instagram video announcing K-pop Demon Hunters breaking Netflix’s all-time record. Her singing counterpart, Rei Ami, was more emotional, writing on her personal page: “Thank you, omg I can’t stop crying. Honoured to be a part of this. Wow. Thank you.”
In other news, according to Variety, Sony and Netflix are in early talks of a potential sequel. Director Maggie Kang said in an interview that she hopes to expand the story by exploring the other members of HUNTR/X. “We’ve set up so much for potential backstory. Obviously, there are a lot of questions that are left unanswered and areas that are not explored, and we had to do that because there’s only so much movie you could tell in 85 minutes,” she said.
