We pretty much knew that Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth had rekindled their romance in January when social media was flooded with reports of the duo ringing in 2016 together in Australia. However, the news lacked solid photographic evidence at the time.
But now there is!
For the first time since resuming their engagement after their reconciliation, Cyrus and Hemsworth were spotted out on a lunch date at West Hollywood vegan hotspot Gracias Madre in Los Angeles.
The pair were joined by Hemsworth’s brothers Chris and Luke, along with Luke’s wife, Samantha. Cyrus was all smiles as she tagged along with the Hemsworth family. The 23-year-old “Wrecking Ball” singer kept her hair pulled back in a high bun and wore a multi-coloured shirt with black skinnies and matching sunglasses.
The 26-year-old “Hunger Games” actor on the other hand, kept it cool and simple in denim jeans, a basic white tee, and a navy jacket. According to ET, an onlooker said the lovebirds looked “happy and relaxed” together.
Lately, Cyrus has been seen wearing the 3.5-carat cushion-cut engagement ring Hemsworth gave her in 2012. Yep, it’s back on that finger again. As aforementioned, there were also reports of the couple moving in together when Cyrus and her friends turned up in a U-Haul self-mover truck at Hemsworth’s Malibu, California home a few months ago.
Even though Cyrus doesn’t usually shy away from paparazzi, it is believed that her beau dislikes the media scrutiny, which is probably why we haven’t seen more pictures of the couple circulating online. “Miley has been surprisingly low key. seems like she is trying to make sure Liam is happy… They haven’t been out in public, because Liam doesn’t like the paparazzi chaos,” an insider told People.
Cyrus and Hemsworth’s clashing personalities have been a problem for them in the past, but the pop star is now handling this differently than she has before.
“Liam couldn’t handle when Miley acted nutty… Miley’s problem was that she thought Liam was boring when he complained… [Miley is] toning things down and acting more normal… She even stopped hanging out with friends that are too wild. She is very focused on making things work with Liam,” another source said.
Neither of them have spoken publicly about their rekindled romance, but we’re super glad that the duo are still going strong.
