Dato Seri Vida is currently one of the biggest names in Malaysia. Everyone knows the entrepreneur because of her eccentric personality, from making crazy songs, always wearing big jewellery, to the iconic ‘Qu Puteh’ commercials. But the most prominent anecdote is of how the self-made millionaire worked hard and built her empire from the ground up. She is truly an inspiring person for anyone to look up to.
Just recently, the multi-millionaire entrepreneur was seen switching up her looks from the usual hijab to a more modernised turban look. The entrepreneur uploaded several photos and videos on Instagram of her new look but when surrounded with friends, she was once again, slammed by the group. This time, she was called a ‘pondan’ by none other than, Michael Ang.
“Dato had to change her image. Now she looks like (the) mothers from Indonesia. But not like a real mother, more of a self-made mother (transvestite),” Michael Ang jokingly said. The entrepreneur then shouted at him, asking him to repeat himself. When she finally caught the joke, she laughed and said “You idiot, Michael!”
The rest of Dato Seri Vida’s friends around the table then backed her up, saying that even as a transvestite, she is still pretty and very much wealthy. Michael Ang had then asked the camera to film the rest of the table, calling them “flatterers”. After a more couple jokes and laughs, the video ended.
Scrolling through Instagram comments, many netizens said that what Michael Ang did was refreshingly honest and that he is a true friend to Dato Seri Vida. Netizens also pointed out that the rest of the people around the table were simply flattering her and that they weren’t displaying true friendship.
