Dior recently unveiled the limited-edition Médaillon. It is the ultimate glitter-finish lip balm designed to double as a luxury beauty accessory for the holiday season.
The Médaillon’s decorative element was initially conceived by the fashion house’s creative director, Jonathan Anderson, channelling 18th-century Rococo style, and can be found across the line-up’s footwear, bags and belts. Now, it has been brought into the beauty sphere as the centrepiece of the Dior Beauty holiday collection. Finished in gold metal, the design is accented with an engraved Dior signature at its centre and enhanced by textured detailing.
Along with the rest of the holiday specials roster, named the Cinnamon Glaze collection, which also spans reinvented versions of its signature Dior Forever Glow Luminizer and Diorshow 5 Couleurs, in all-new special shades, the Dior Médaillon lip compact was designed as a true make-up accessory. The creamy lip balm reveals an ultra-glittery shade that shines in blush pink and is infused with floral care for up to 24 hours of hydration and comfort.
You can keep it safe in your make-up bag for on-the-go lip care or display it by sticking it to the back of your phone. Yes, that’s right, it doubles up as the ultimate piece of beauty merch, too. How can I shop the Dior Médaillon?
The Dior Médaillon is available to purchase at Dior.com through members-only early access. Anyone can sign up to become a member and shop it straight away. Otherwise, the Cinnamon Glaze collection launches in full distribution from Thursday 15th October.
