YSL Beauty has marked a milestone with its first-ever global Eid Mubarak campaign named ‘The Golden Celebration’ featuring Malaysian actor and ambassador, Meerqeen. Inspired by the golden desert and the softness of an iftar sunset among radiant golden leaves, the campaign captures the magic of Eid through YSL Beauty’s signature bold and edgy aesthetic.
Both a style icon and actor, Meerqeen is chosen alongside regional names including Indonesian actress Luna Maya and Turkish actor Boran Kuzum as one of the few talents to headline the campaign. Besides his meteoric rise as a Malaysian star, his involvement highlights his ability to place Malaysia within the global luxury beauty hub. Meerqeen’s presence captures the essence of the season, merging tradition with modern flair in a way that feels effortless and memorable.
With its shimmering visuals and celebratory energy, ‘The Golden Celebration’ honours cultural heritage, individuality, and togetherness. Meerqeen’s charisma and warmth add a playful yet sophisticated touch, perfectly complementing YSL Beauty’s refined yet daring vision for Eid.

Fans will also have the opportunity to meet and greet Meerqeen in person at the L’Oréal Luxe Multi-Branded Eid Mubarak Pop-up at IOI Putrajaya on 1st March 2026 at 2pm to 4pm, where one can explore YSL Beauty’s exclusive Eid offerings and immerse in the luxurious world of the brand.
