“Is your body from McDonald’s? Because I’m lovin’ it!”

Sorry for the lame joke, but we just cannot hide our excitement over McDonald’s Singapore new promotional “Confirm Shiok” menu! The fast food chain has just launched their very own “Zhng-ed” Up Salted Egg Yolk Chicken Burger today (Thursday, 30th June).

Tucked between a black pepper and white sesame bun, the new burger is made up of crispy breaded chicken, fragrant salted egg yolk sauce, fresh curry leaves, and crunchy lettuce.

Besides that, McDonald’s has also unveiled several locally-inspired items into their menu: “Jiak Kantang” (literally translated as “eat potato”) Twist & Shake Fries with salt and pepper crab-flavoured shaker; Hot Stuff Cannot Bluff Spicy Nuggets; Don’t Say “Bo Jio” Banana Pie; “So Sedap” Gula Melaka McFlurry with layer cake bites; and Spicy “Chicabom” McSpicy Burger.

This is not the first time that the restaurant chain is offering locally-inspired dishes to its menu. They previously introduced beef/chicken satay burgers and beef rendang burger in 2014 and 2015 respectively.

We think it’s time to up your game, Malaysia 😉
