Have you ever come across a video on the internet that made you feel old? Remember when Steve from Blues Clues were all over the net and got everyone bawling? Yes, like that. In Malaysians’ case, Masya Masyitah, winner of Yippi Star Quest 2020, has recently got netizens talking after she posted a video on TikTok.
She has piqued enough netizens’ interest when she posted that particular video of her dancing in her yellow carrot pajamas with a man known as Idris Woon. Netizens in the comments were questioning whether she has gotten married to the man. However, she did not deny that she and Idris are in a romantic relationship. She also has stated how the relationship was blessed and accepted by both sides of the family.
When she was contacted by Kosmo! Online, she told them “I have no comments regarding this. I know I will be criticised by the public when the TikTok video I uploaded went viral. (It) was viralled and (I) was criticised by the public when they easily assumed we were married just because we danced in pajamas. i would like to (inform), when the video was shot, we weren’t alone. There was my mum and other (family members) at home that time. (If) they want to say that I got married or whatever, I have no business entertaining them. Let them be curious.”
She has also stated how she is yet ready to tie the knot because there are more things she wish to achieve in her career before that. She also thinks that if she were to get married, the groom’s side has to be financially ready and mentally mature. Although she won’t keep it a secret from the media, she hopes people will respect her privacy.

A recent post of her on Instagram from last weekend (21st November 2021) included three pictures of her with her beau in a restaurant. She captioned the post with, “Every second spent with you is the best moment of my life.” The Johorean born Chinese Muslim, Idris Woon, replied to her in the comment, “baby, love you so much.”
The rumour of her tying the knot has got netizens on TikTok feeling old. They commented, “If she has actually gotten married, then it means that I’m old.” While another said, “she got married early or am I old?” and “oh, so I’m old, then.”
