Sometimes, the world is even stranger than we can imagine. Don’t believe us? Just look at the internet! There’re plenty of weird stuff online, if you go looking for it. Well, we have  another one to add to the list.

Recently, a man in China was at a hotel when he decided to call a prostitute to his room. To his surprise and horror, he knew the woman. It turned out to be his own wife!

According to Chinese media, Mr. Zhang was rarely at home due to his work. His wife, surnamed Shen, was the one who looked after the family and the house. But, Mr. Zhang would usually return home during Chinese New Year and summer vacations. Well, like every other year, Mr. Zhang had returned to his hometown for CNY this year.

He had supposedly arrived at midnight, and to avoid troubling his family, Mr. Zhang decided to stay at a nearby hotel. While he was in his room, Mr. Zhang found an advertisement for prostitutes. The ads got him horny enough to call the number. The prostitute soon showed up. But, upon seeing him, she immediately fled. Feeling suspicious, Mr. Zhang went after the woman. And to his shock, he discovered the prostitute was actually his wife.

Unfortunately, shock gave way to fury as Mr. Zhang understood what was going on. Realising she had been selling herself without telling him, Mr. Zhang started beating and kicking his wife while scolding her. The wife’s screams alarmed those nearby and they were quick to contact the police.

Both Mr. Zhang and his wife were detained by the police and taken back to the police station. Mr. Zhang was later sentenced to eight days of administrative detention and fined 400 yuan (~RM255). His wife was only sentenced to three days and fined 200 yuan (~RM127).

Well, hopefully the couple will be able to resolve their marriage affair soon. It’s certainly one of the worse ways to discover something is wrong with your marriage.
