It’s been a long wait, but MAMAMOO (마마무) is finally coming back! The quartet has announced plans to make a group comeback next year, nearly four years after their last release.
On 30th October 2025, MAMAMOO’s agency, Rainbow Bridge World (RBW), confirmed the rumours that the group will be returning to the music scene in 2026. The agency said, “MAMAMOO is indeed preparing for a full-group comeback, aiming for release in June next year.” RBW added that the group is also planning to hold a world tour, starting with concerts in Korea.

This upcoming release will mark MAMAMOO’s first group comeback since the release of their 12th mini album, “MIC ON”, in October 2022. Since then, the members have focused on their solo careers and unit activities. However, in 2023, the group released a special single, “MMM Simile”, performed for Hwasa’s (화사) talk show, “Hwasa Show”. The group also celebrated their 10th anniversary in June 2024 with a special video shared on their official YouTube channel.
As for solo activities, Hwasa recently made her comeback with the single “Good Goodbye”, garnering attention for her unique stage performances. Solar (솔라) is currently embarking on a solo concert tour around Asia, with performances in Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Wheein (휘인) is also on tour and will perform in Singapore on 1st November 2025 (Saturday). Meanwhile, Moonbyul (문별) released her 4th mini-album, “Laundri,” in August.

MOOMOOs (MAMAMOO fans) have reacted to the comeback news, mostly excited to see the return of their favourite group. Given that it’s been years since the group’s last comeback, along with MAMAMOO’s status as one of K-pop’s leading vocal powerhouses, the anticipation is high for what the members have in store. Many also expressed interest in the world tour, hoping that their city would be included.
June 2026 is still a few months away, but we’re sure fans are already prepared for MAMAMOO’s comeback. Are you excited for their return?
