Getting to meet a celebrity by accident means you’re already one of the lucky ones – but it seems like these two sisters had all the luck during their Seoul trip because they met not one, not two, but three celebrities while they were there. Sisters Reena and Ally were in Seoul recently, and on their last day there before returning to Malaysia, they stumbled upon a familiar face at the airport.
The two then realised that it was actress Seo Yeaji (서예지) and quickly approached her. According to the Twitter thread, the “Eve” actress and her manager were surprised that the sisters greeted them. During their meeting, Reena revealed that Seo Yeaji hugged the sisters for a long time.
The sisters then took out RM1 notes to get the actress’ autograph when Ally asked if they could also take a picture with the star. Despite her manager saying no, Seo Yeaji was adamant about letting the girls take a photo with her, with the promise that the girls would share it sometime later. Even after the girls had left, the actress surprised them with another kind gesture, greeting them from afar and telling them to have a safe flight. Seo Yeaji also said she would remember their encounter before waving them goodbye. Aw…
However, Seo Yeaji wasn’t the only Korean celeb the sisters encountered during their trip because before meeting her, Reena and Ally both met two K-pop idols – SF9 (에스에프나인) member Inseong (인성) and ZE:A (제국의 아이들) member Heechul (정희철). Ally shared the moment the two met Inseong, who was then fulfilling his mandatory military service but was on vacation. The Malaysians did not take a photo with him, but Ally did get his autograph, which Inseong gave on an RM1 note she had with her.
For Reena, meeting Heechul was definitely unforgettable as she was a ZE:A fan. According to her tweet, the rapper sat beside her on the subway and stopped at the same station. Reena said she wasn’t initially sure if it was the idol because he wore a face mask. When she finally greeted him, Heechul was shocked that she knew him as he hadn’t been active since ZE:A went on hiatus. Of course, Reena asked for an autograph but admitted it made her so nervous that she had to take a breather at the subway station.
One can only wonder how Reena and Ally got so lucky during their visit to Seoul – but there’s no doubt that this trip will stay in the girls’ memories for a really long time.
