20 By Two’s “Fashion Beyond Borders”, a Malaysian-Singaporean cross-cultural fashion exchange platform, is set to launch its debut twin retail events this September, showcasing the debut Fall/Winter 2012 collections of 18 well-known and emerging fashion brands from two countries.
The pilot fashion showcase will see the exchange of Malaysian and Singaporean designers, with our homegrown fashion talents flown to attend the event in Singapore to talk about their work and vice versa.
Malaysia’s Joe Chia, Alia Bastamam, Chic Yamada, and Thirtyfour are slated to exhibit their pieces alongside Singapore’s AL&ALICIA, Lauren Jasmine, and By Invite Only from 14th September to 16th September at Publika, Solaris Dutamas.
Expect a different fashion experience altogether as 20 By Two will run an online pop-up store in tandem with the two showcase event, with online-exclusive pieces available for sale.
