#MalaysiaDay: Malaysians, Truly United At Heart

In celebration of our Malaysia Day, also known as Malaysia‘s 51st birthday, we thought it’d be nice to ask our readers to participate in sharing their thoughts on and love for our country.

It’s true, the recent years have been some of the toughest years for Malaysia, especially the past few months. Although we’re still dealing from the turmoil that we’ve been put through, one thing’s for sure – Malaysians are now stronger than ever. This is because regardless of race or religion, at heart, Malaysians are one. And we don’t need a rocket scientist to tell us that!

It’s #MalaysiaDay, you guys! We’re grateful that we get to call this beautiful country our home 🙂 What are you grateful for? Tweet us!

— Hype Malaysia (@HypeMY) September 16, 2014

As such, we asked our readers on Twitter and Facebook to tell us what they’re most grateful for today. You know, just sharing the love and all.

Here’s what they (meaning, some of you) had to say. See if you can spot yours:

@HypeMY keharmonian pelbagai bangsa yg berdiri di bawah panji yg sama. 1Malaysia! #MalaysiaDay

The above sentiments only reminded us of one thing, that through it all, Malaysia, you’re absolutely beautiful inside out. Thank you all for sharing!

Psst! Don’t forget to check out Mariah Carey’s Malaysia Day greeting here too, gift-wrapped and sent with love via her official Facebook page a little earlier today.

Happy Malaysia Day, you guys. Much love from us at Hype Malaysia 🙂
