Plastic surgery has its pros and cons. While some need it, others want it. And unfortunately, regardless of their reasons, most get judged for deciding to go under the knife. However, that isn’t an issue for Taiwanese artist Lyla Ho (蕾菈)!
Lyla, member of YouTube group Wackyboys (反骨男孩), has always had a beautiful appearance. But recently, netizens have been claiming that she’s a “(modified) person” with photos of her supposedly proving so. However, Lyla refuted the rumours, adding that one of the photos wasn’t even hers!
There’s no denying that most would agree on Lyla’s beauty, thanks to her mixed heritage of Taiwanese and Arab. However, some netizens claim that her beauty isn’t all natural. In fact, they recently insinuated that she had gotten plastic surgery done on her features. The allegation was made with a few uploaded photos of Lyla from childhood till now.
Needless to say, the timeline of photos left many stunned with several mocking her. Some questioned the number of times she had gotten surgery done while others called her a “生化人 (modified person)”. One comment even nastily read: “There are no ugly women, only lazy ones.”
Well, to their surprise, Lyla responded to the issue personally on the post. “Hey, the (photo) on the top left isn’t (even) me at all! Except for breast surgery, (I didn’t do) anything else! If I did, I would (record it) and let you all know,” she stated.
“I’m dying of laughter,” Lyla later confided to her fans on her personal Facebook. The artist reiterated that one of the photos didn’t belong to her before adding, “And there are people in the comments who say I’m a (modified person).”
The content creator then went on to tease the netizens. “Please, if I did do (surgery), I would definitely make a (video of it) to earn your (views).” However, Lyla noted that she had actually changed a lot over time. Regardless, her fans still fawned over her recent pics, with most praising Lyla’s looks.
Earlier this year, Lyla announced that she had gotten breast augmentation surgery done. The surgery had actually given her the confidence to model nude. Aside from that, the artist has never shared about any other surgeries. Guess some people are just jealous!
