If you haven’t heard by now, local singer Firdhaus Farmizi (菲道尔) has been under scrutiny lately following allegations that he cheated on his ex-girlfriend, Diorlying Tan (大穎). While the 26-year-old continues to deny the claims, his career has already taken a blow.
Recently, news outlets reported that Firdhaus was removed from the lineup of an upcoming concert he was scheduled to participate in. The previous poster for the joint concert set for December also features his ex Diorlying, singer Priscilla Abby (蔡恩雨) and comedian Lucas Lee HanJ (卢卡斯). As shown in the new poster, Firdhaus was removed from the lineup after rumours of him cheating surfaced. Interestingly, the new poster also now placed Diorlying in the centre position.
This isn’t the first time Firdhaus was removed from a concert lineup following his cheating scandal. The singer was initially scheduled to perform at an event on 19th November 2024 (Tuesday) but had his appearance cancelled the day before the performance. However, it’s unclear whether it was his choice to pull out of the show or the event organiser has removed him from the lineup to avoid criticism given the recent allegations.
Unfortunately, performances and gigs aren’t the only things Firdhaus has lost since the rumours surfaced. According to news outlets, the public figure has lost a lot of followers on his Instagram account over the past few days. China Press claimed that Firdhaus lost more than 20,000 followers in two days. As of writing, his follower count is at 594,000 and is continuing to decrease.
In the meantime, fans and netizens continue to show support for Diorlying through social media. The singer also recently made her first public appearance since the cheating allegations, performing at a private event. Besides the upcoming joint concert with Priscilla Abby and Lucas Lee, Diorlying will also perform at a campus event in December. However, amidst the scandal, the social media personality hasn’t commented on her allegations towards her ex.
