Another day, another mould discovery?
Following recent discoveries of mouldy leather items and cinema seats, netizens were surprised to find out that even kitchen utensils have not been spared.
A Malaysian shopper was recently looking to buy some cooking utensils to bake cookies in lieu of the upcoming Hari Raya celebration. However, the lady was shocked to find that many of the wooden spoons and spatula covered in dust and mould.
Judging from the greenish white mould, it looks like the kitchen tools under the brand Utensili Da Cucina were badly affected. According to WoB, the Twitter user (who wants to remain anonymous) said that the outlet is located in Klang.
“Before closing and hearing about the notification of closing for MCO, shops regardless corporate or small businesses should start cleaning before shutting down their doors. Upon opening, a thorough cleaning should be done as well, not just for customer’s well being but for the employers and employees,” Desmond Leong Aisawan commented.
We couldn’t agree more. This seems to be an ongoing predicament faced by many businesses.
