Crimes can happen when you least expect it – and, unfortunately, these days, a home burglary can happen even in broad daylight. Local radio DJ DannyOne (溫力銘) recently revealed the suspects who burglarised his neighbour’s home.
Earlier this week, the radio announcer shockingly revealed that his neighbour’s home was broken into in the middle of the day when no one was home. In an interview with China Press, Danny said the incident happened in his neighbourhood in Cheras. He also exposed screenshots of the CCTV footage taken during the burglary, revealing the identity of the suspects.

In the screenshots, the two suspects entered the house, wearing casual clothes with caps and masks to cover their faces. The two Chinese men each carried a black backpack and left with three large plastic bags containing items from the house. According to Danny, the men stole cash, some foreign currencies and several luxury items.
Danny also revealed the license plate of the perpetrators’ car, “JQY 3681”, adding that residents have frequently seen the vehicle near the residential area in recent days. The media personality said many of his neighbours initially thought the car belonged to an acquaintance of one of the residents. However, Danny now speculated that the men had been driving around the area to monitor potential targets, as they seemed familiar with the victim’s schedule.

No updates on the burglary case were reported, but Danny reminds the public to be extra vigilant when it comes to their homes and belongings, especially since the holiday season is upon us. While many netizens have reacted with shock over the case, some joked about purchasing lottery tickets using the suspects’ license plate number.
We hope the suspects get caught soon so the residents in Danny’s neighbourhood can have peace of mind. Like the radio DJ, we also urge everyone to be cautious if they encounter suspicious figures near their home.
