In conjunction with Earth Hour 2019, World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF-Malaysia) has officially collaborated with TikTok Malaysia to launch the #myearthhour2019 challenge.

The challenge is aimed to raise awareness on the important role of nature in everyday life and the benefits it provides, including food production, clean air and fresh water.

Several Malaysian celebrities and influencers have also used the platform to advocate and inspire their followers to support and promote environmental awareness.

The celebrities include Datuk Lee Chong Wei, Rozita Che Wan, Amar Baharin, Bella Dally, Hani Fadzil, Intan Najuwa, Fuying & Sam, Lawrence Wong, Uriah See, Ucop and more.

“Earth conservation plays a very important role, especially for the benefit of the younger generation. Earth Hour is a great opportunity for me to be a part of a strong movement that aims to raise awareness on the importance of protecting our environment,” Datuk Lee Chong Wei said.

This year, Earth Hour invites everyone across the world to show their solidarity towards planet earth by turning off their lights for an hour on 30th March 2019 at 8:30pm.
