Earlier in June, Lin Chiling (林志玲) announced her marriage to Exile’s Akira, whose real name is Ryōhei Kurosawa (黒澤 良平).
Word on the street has it that the Taiwanese model and the Japanese actor/popstar will be holding their wedding ceremony on 17th November 2019 (next Sunday) in Tainan.
According to Singapore publication Today Online, one of the guests leaked a screenshot of the wedding invite. The text reads:
“To our closest family and friends,
Because you are very important to us, please accept our gift of love. Let the happiness spread. It will be held on 17th November 2019, at Tainan. A small ceremony will begin in the afternoon. We would be honoured by your presence.
Regards, Akira and Lin Chiling.”
Apple Daily reported that the newlyweds are hosting a low-key wedding. Since this isn’t a big event, only 100 close friends and relatives have been invited to the afternoon ceremony followed by an evening party.
The wedding venue remains a secret but it is speculated that Lin Chiling and Akira’s big day might be held at 1 of these 3 locations: the historic Houbi Huang Family Mansion, Tainan Art Museum and the Silks Place Hotel.
Reports are suggesting that the 44-year-old beauty prefers her wedding to take place at the family mansion, which was built in 1927. It’s not just more meaningful to hold traditional Chinese customs there but Houbi is also Chiling’s dad’s hometown.

Chiling’s rep also released a statement on her behalf. It reads:
“Thank you to my media friends for your concern! It will just be a really small gathering with family and friends on that day, and I will definitely be sharing photos after that! I’m really sorry that we aren’t able to invite everyone. I will be holding [my wedding] in Tainan, as I would like to share the same memories as my parents. Thank you all, you’ve worked hard.”
