Cosmetic surgery for anything can be crazy expensive. But sometimes, it’s worth the price. Malaysian internet celebrity Liang Jing En certainly thought so!
Just recently, the online seller released a video on YouTube showing her recent breast enhancement surgery in South Korea. To the surprise of many, Liang Jing En hadn’t shied away from dropping RM55,000 for the operation alone. However, the internet celeb had her reasons, and it wasn’t because of her husband!
Liang Jing En shared in her video that she had never considered doing breast surgery before. However, after giving birth and losing weight, her breasts had gotten smaller and saggier. Feeling her confidence take a severe hit, the internet celeb decided to give herself a boost by flying to South Korea for a RM55,000 breast enhancement surgery in September 2023.
To date, the breast enhancement surgery is her second surgery, her first being when she gave birth. “Actually,” she later confessed. “I’m still afraid of this operation.” Still, it helped that her husband was there every step of the way with her, including being there afterwards to look after her. Reportedly the whole surgery was completed in an hour and a half. Jing En claimed she felt no discomfort and that the entire operation went smoothly, to her delight.
Netizens were most worried if there would be pain, however, Jing En says she was pain free. “Due to the general anesthesia (given) during the operation, I basically felt no pain,” she reassured. She also shared that fat had been extracted from her thigh to fill the breasts, and that her axillary breasts had also been removed.
However, Liang Jing En’s recent breast enhancement has caused a stir online. Some netizens have been judging her choice, much to her displeasure. One even alleged she was advocating for plastic surgery, something they didn’t agree with. Another claimed if she wasn’t confident in her looks, she shouldn’t be an internet celebrity.
Jing En very frankly defended herself and her choices. “If you don’t like breast surgery and plastic surgery, then don’t watch it,” she stated. She also made it clear that getting breast enhancement had been her choice as she simply wanted to feel more confident in herself again. “As I’ve mentioned in the video, (I’m not) advocating for plastic surgery, everyone has a right to choose,” she said.
Jing En also took an issue with media focusing on a quip she had made while explaining why she wanted to get breast surgery. During the explanation, she jokingly mentioned that her husband likes big boobs, but she later clarified it was not her sole reason for the operation. “I still have to emphasize that the breast enhancement is mainly for myself (and) not entirely because of my husband,” she said. “Everyone has the right to make themselves beautiful.”
Well, kudos to Liang Jing En for knowing what she wants and being brave enough to get it! As some later pointed out, it’s her money and her body. Hopefully she’s happy with the results of her breast enhancement surgery!
