Mandopop fans have truly been spoiled this week, with both Della Ding Dang and Zhao Chuan recently announcing their forthcoming concerts in Malaysia. Adding to the excitement, yet another Mandopop icon has just revealed plans for a live performance this May.
Taiwanese band F.I.R. (飛兒樂團) recently announced their highly anticipated “Our Love” World Tour 2025, set to take place at the Arena of Stars, Resorts World Genting on 24th May 2025 (Saturday). Marking their 20th anniversary in the music industry, the band embarks on a bold new chapter with a refreshed line-up that honours their iconic legacy.
Since their debut in 2004, F.I.R. has won the hearts of fans across Asia with timeless tracks such as “Lydia”, “Our Love”, “Crescent Bay”, “A Thousand Years of Love” and many more. Their upcoming “Our Love” World Tour marks the band’s third major concert tour and will showcase their greatest hits from the past 20 years. The tour will also shine a spotlight on band leader Ian Chen’s significant contributions to the Mandopop genre.
Over the years, Ian Chen has composed and produced music for some of the most iconic names in the industry, including A-Mei, Jacky Cheung, and Andy Lau, among others. Joining Ian in this upcoming performance is F.I.R.’s new vocalist Xiao Yu, and guitarist Wu Yi. This concert will see the reinterpretation of classic Mandopop hits, making it a true celebration of popular Mandarin music. Here are all the details of the show:
