It’s been more than half a year since former celebrity couple Wang Leehom (王力宏) and Lee Jing Lei (李靚蕾) fell silent. Prior to that, they had been feuding long and hard after Leehom was accused of cheating on Jing Lei.
The scandal broke their marriage and destroyed much of their relationship. As such, it wasn’t a surprise when the duo faded out of the public eye to maintain some privacy. But seven months after the mess, both Leehom and Jing Lei have resurfaced. And well, one of them certainly seems to be doing better than the other!
Ever since the ex-couple had their last spat about resolving their divorce issue, they have both gone silent on social media. In fact, no one has seen or heard of Jing Lei. However, just yesterday (12th October), photos showing Jing Lei were circulated on social media as she had attended Taiwanese host Hugua Hu (胡瓜)’s daughter’s wedding!
From the photos, Jing Lei could be seen looking pretty in a pink dress. Apparently, Jing Lei hadn’t been the only one at the wedding, plenty of her friends were there too! Needless to say, their presence put her in a good mood. Jing Lei had taken plenty of photos with her friends, including Elin Yeh who had defended Jing Lei during the scandal. However, Jing Lei herself had not posted the photos on her socials, and kept them exclusively to her Instagram Story.
As for Wang Leehom, well, Chinese media have reported seeing him living out his life as normal. However, the media claims that the star is not as well-groomed as before. Additionally, Leehom has allegedly been living at his company’s building instead of his studio. Unfortunately, this may have caused him some trouble as he was supposedly fined a 6-digit number for “illegally” living there.
It was certainly difficult watching an 8-year marriage fall apart. But, on the bright side, it’s good to see that the duo are continuing with their lives, regardless of the mess they left behind.
