A lot of people see their partner for life as a soulmate. However, as it turns out, not everyone knows their ‘other half’ as well as they think they do!
A lady in Indonesia recently got a nasty shock after being married to her husband for 10 months. She thought she fell in love with a great man. Unfortunately, it seems she married a ‘great’ woman instead!
According to the lady, she had met her ‘husband’ (birth name: Erayani) via a dating app. “At that time, he looked like a man and lived in Lahat, South Sumatra,” she stated. Her ‘husband’ had been using the name Ahnaf Arrafif on the app. “Initially, she (Erayani) had claimed to be working as a doctor, with many academic qualifications from abroad,” she told the court.
After hitting off, they dated for two weeks before Erayani came to stay at her place for a week. The lady noted that Erayani had been kind and cordial during the stay. She even helped the lady to look after her parents who had been sick then. Soon after, Erayani proposed to her, with blessings from the lady’s parents. The lady added she had never suspected anything about her husband’s gender.
However, several things didn’t add up about her new ‘husband’. The lady claimed she never got to meet Erayani’s biological parents. She had also never seen her husband’s genitals. Additionally, she once noticed a lump on Erayani’s chest. The latter explained it away by claiming it was caused by hormones.
By the fourth month of their marriage, the lady’s mother started suspecting something was strange. Apparently, what tipped her off was the fact that Erayani never undressed in front of others. The lady herself was unsure as Erayani always delivered on giving her amazing sex.
Things came to head when the lady’s mother asked Erayani to undress when taking a shower. Erayani, unable to hide herself, had her secret exposed. When asked about having sexual intercourse with her other half, Erayani claimed she used her fingers and nothing else.
The lady was understandably upset and brought the issue to court. However, Erayani was charged on the basis of falsifying her qualifications as a doctor. The lady is also reportedly considering a divorce.
It’s never a good idea to build a relationship on lies and deception. That being said, it’s probably wise to check your other half and be sure of who you’re marrying!
