If you’ve been following the news on the K-pop scene, you’re probably aware of the AOA scandal. For context, one of the members, Kwon Mina (권민아) became the centre of attention among the media and the public after she claimed that she was bullied by the group’s leader, Jimin.
Now that the drama has seemingly come to an end (thanks to Dispatch), fans have been utterly curious on what the two girls are up to today. Following the controversy, Jimin has since came out of her retirement and signed with a new agency. On the other hand, it’s been reported that Mina is currently in the process of launching her own business.
The former idol appeared in an interview with Money Today earlier on Monday (31st October). She revealed, “I plan to open an online shopping mall (sometime) in January or February next year. I’m preparing an online shopping mall. I’ll also launch a brand. The brand’s name is Seoul345, and it’ll handle a wide range of products such as clothing, basic cosmetics, miscellaneous goods and limited-edition items. I’m in charge of the design and concept myself.”
According to KBIZoom, Mina has left her main job for a while to focus on learning business. Earlier this year, the “Like A Cat” singer shared that she was working at a skincare clinic located in Huam-dong. In July, it was revealed that she participated in marketing and idea planning of a cafe called Kaffe 345 in Seogyo-dong, Seoul.
Regardless, we’re really glad that Mina is currently doing well with her current life!
