From 3rd to 9th August 2026, Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week (KLFW) returns to its iconic home at the Esplanade, KLCC Park to deliver its 14th edition of homegrown fashion. To mark this milestone season, KLFW 2026 presents Destination: Home Ground, a cultural revival in celebration of the Malaysian identity through the lens of over 50 designers and labels.

The annual homecoming of the city’s most anticipated fashion event takes flight with Suria KLCC and KLCC (Holdings) Sdn Bhd, transforming the heart of the capital into an arena of style, creativity and culture. The KLFW 2026 calendar will showcase Malaysian fashion at its finest, from diversity in styles and new faces to inspiring collaborations and creative innovation, amplified with the support of the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) and in conjunction with Visit Malaysia 2026.

Adapted from archival batik prints from Yayasan Sabah, the KLFW 2026 show space is refashioned with a monochromatic, heritage-inspired facade, housing all-white runways and a fresh new layout. With runways mirroring the appearance of an hourglass, the 500-seater show hall will be composed of a curated mix of front rows, bleachers and seating zones, creating an organic and more immersive experience for guests in attendance. The striking purpose-built structure is once again fitted with a large LED screen panel, exclusively screening the runway live to shoppers and fashion enthusiasts alike.

KLFW 2026 cements its status as a fashion destination by going beyond the tent and raising the bar on onground experiences via a series of pop-ups throughout the spaces of Suria KLCC. Designed as a tangible journey in celebrating homegrown fashion, expect activations such as styling displays by fashion students at Isetan KLCC, a visual exhibition of industry creatives by MOCCONA and a curated Jom Malaysia pop-up by KPDN offering a selection of homegrown brands.

Landing for the very first time on the KLFW 2026 runway are labels PLAZÄ, NanaLyana, Asyraf Arrif, inisaya by Jeffery Goh, 99%ANGEL, CDH and EMRI. No stranger to the fashion scene, Sharifah Kirana is set to make a mark with her timeless sense of elegance while celebrated creative ManChien premieres her new label Super Structure. Fashion fixtures Rizman Ruzaini and Fiziwoo are serving up double features this year as Rizman Ruzaini presents back-to-back shows, while Fiziwoo features Woo Brothers, the menswear extension of their main label.

Textiles, traditions and techniques come alive in the form of material culture studio MUNI’s collaboration with designer Jeff Yeong as well as social enterprise Tanoti’s debut collection at KLFW 2026. The Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living revives the Fashion Forward Batik Malaysia segment with a total of thirty looks from ten local designers, exclusively made from batik sourced from both East and West Malaysia.

“With Destination: Home Ground, KLFW 2026 is bringing Malaysian fashion back to its roots while propelling it into the future. We are zeroing in on our spaces and experiences, creating more ways to connect and celebrate our style, stories and culture. KLFW is more than just a series of runway shows; it is a shared community experience where fashion enthusiasts, trendsetters, and visitors from all over gather at our home ground to witness passion in action,” shared Andrew Tan, Founder of Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week.

“A platform of this scale is only possible through collaboration. We are grateful for the continued support of Suria KLCC and KLCC (Holdings) Sdn Bhd, along with our Principal Industry Strategic Partner, the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN), and our KLFW 2026 sponsors: Omoda & Jaecoo Malaysia, Panasonic Beauty, Tomei, L’Oréal Paris, L’Oréal Professionnel, MOCCONA and Daia. Sharing the same commitment to pushing fashion forward are our partners Bolon Eyewear, Isetan Kuala Lumpur, Magnum, Vida, LuasLink and Tricia Lew while Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur and Traders Hotel Kuala Lumpur return as our official hotels,” he added.

Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali, the Minister of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living, stated: “Our partnership with Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week 2026 is a flagship initiative of the newly rebranded ‘Jom Beli Produk Malaysia’ (Jom Malaysia) campaign. This transformation goes beyond a new name, it is about inspiring a deep sense of pride in Malaysian talent and creativity. Partnering with a platform like KLFW allows us to directly connect our homegrown fashion entrepreneurs with broader markets. Fashion is a dynamic economic force. When we choose to buy local, we aren’t just celebrating Malaysian style and innovation; we are actively driving national economic growth and uplifting our creative communities.”

Datuk Sr Mohd. Salem Kailany, the Group Chief Executive Officer of KLCC (Holdings) Sdn Bhd highlighted, “Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week continues to champion Malaysia’s creative talent, and we are delighted to welcome it back to KLCC this year. This collaboration further reinforces KLCC The Place as a dynamic destination where culture, creativity and community converge. As a partner, we are pleased to support a platform that continues to grow in influence, welcoming new designers alongside established names, showcasing the depth and diversity of Malaysian talent, and enlivening KLCC The Place with the inspiring energy of Malaysian creativity.”

“As the iconic home ground for Malaysian fashion, Suria KLCC is pleased to welcome Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week 2026 back to the Esplanade KLCC. This year’s theme, Destination: Home Ground, beautifully mirrors our own commitment to championing local creativity. We are exceptionally proud that our esteemed retail partner, Rizman Ruzaini, will be steering the official opening showcase of this 14th edition on 3rd August. Beyond the runway, our goal is to nurture an ecosystem where homegrown talent thrives, elevating Malaysian design innovation and creative expression onto a grander national scale. Suria KLCC remains the ultimate experiential destination where Malaysian culture, style, and retail excellence seamlessly come together.” said Francis Tan, Executive Director and CEO of Suria KLCC Sdn Bhd.
