Kris Wu (吴亦凡) will be dropping a brand new song tomorrow morning (Wednesday, 7th August).
The 28-year-old singer-actor will be debuting the track “Dawn” (破晓), specially for “The Rap of China” (中國新說唱). For the uninitiated, “The Rap of China” is Chinese rap competition show produced by iQiyi.
Besides Kris (aka Wu Yi Fan), Taiwanese-American singer Will Pan, Hong Kong singer G.E.M., together with Taiwanese rapper MC HotDog and Taiwanese rock musician Chang Chen-yue are onboard as judges. Each team has 5 hopeful rappers in the Top 20.
“Hi everyone I’m Kris Wu, my new single ‘Dawn’ is coming soon! This song is more melodic & hip hop. I specially chose it to be shared with everyone on Qixi (Chinese Valentine’s Day). I hope that it’ll be a special & sweet present to you guys & y’all will like it,” the former EXO member was quoted as saying.
