The Kardashians are filthy rich. Love them or hate them – you can’t deny that this famous family sure know how to bring in big bucks.
Did you know that the Kardashian clan is worth more than US$1 billion collectively? They’ve built an empire from their hit reality show, “Keeping Up With The Kardashians”, now in its 16th season. The show has also elevated their individual brand ventures and business. It’s no secret that one of their biggest tools is social media.
In recent weeks, the Kardashian/Jenners have been slammed by actress Jameela Jamil for using Instagram to promote weight-loss products to their followers. Khloé was critised for posting about meal replacement shakes while Kim came under fire for promoting a line of appetite-suppressing lollipops.
“When will these women who are covered in plastic surgery stop telling their followers to drink a laxative to look like them?” Jamil tweeted. She also claim that the Kardashians’ pockets were “lined with the blood and diarrhoea of teenage girls”.

When asked about the backlash, the self-identified “momager” answered that she refuses to live in a “negative energy space”, adding that “90% of the people” are usually supportive of the family anyway.
Meanwhile, Kim explained that these promotional posts on social media were “easy work”. Plus, it doesn’t require time away from her children. “If someone was faced with the same job opportunities, I think they would maybe consider,” Kim added.

In speaking to CBS Sunday Morning, Kris went into detail about her daughters’ social media advertisements and endorsements. “My daughters are constantly getting offers to post something for a company, or a brand, on social media. So they’re – they have a fee for a post, or a fee for a story, a fee for Facebook, a fee for — you know — they have a fee schedule,” she said.
The fee not only varies on how and where the product is promoted but also on what the product is. Mind you, getting an endorsement from the Kardashian/Jenners is expensive. “I mean, it’s definitely six figures. And sometimes, if it’s Kim, or if it’s Kylie, it depends on what it really is,” the “momager” continued.
The price will go up if it’s a pharmaceutical product or “something that you’re going to drink, or ingest, or put on your body.”

Instagram analysts HopperHQ has ranked Kylie as one of the top celebrities who can charge the most for a social media post. Her worth is estimated to be US$1 million per post. Sisters like Kim and Kendall might charge up to US$720,000 per post and US$500,000 per post respectively.
