Another day, another K-Pop dating rumour!
This time, Dispatch has dropped photos of UEE (유이) and Korean-Japanese Singer Kangnam. The popular South Korean media outlet claimed that the 2 stars went on a date recently.
However, UEE’s label Yuleum Entertainment denied the reports. They said, “After checking with UEE, we can confirm that they are only friends.”
On the other hand, Kangnam’s agency RD Entertainment responded, “First, we need to confirm with Kangnam. We know they are friends, but we’ll check about the dating rumours.”
According to Koreaboo, UEE (real name Kim Yu Jin) and Kangnam (real name Yasuo Namekawa) met on the set of reality-documentary show “Law of the Jungle” in May. The former After School member, who is currently filming KBS2 Wednesday-Thursday drama “Man Hole”, took to Instagram to address the rumours.
She said:
“Kangnam oppa and I got close during ‘Laws of the Jungle’. We have eaten meals together with the staff after the show ended but to say that we are dating from that makes me sad ㅠㅠㅠㅠ Everyone! If I really start dating somebody, I will tell you! Right now, is working time!!!”

It’s official – UEE and Kangnam are an item!
After Dispatch released a video of the 2 stars, their labels have stepped up to confirm their relationship. In a statement, Yuleum said, “UEE and Kangnam have just recently started a relationship, so they are very surprised and careful about the situation. UEE was even more careful because she didn’t want to cause harm to the upcoming drama that she’s working on. As they were trying to be considerate towards each other, we first denied the rumours.”
“But they have both agreed that they should officially announce their relationship. We ask for your support and love for their relationship and future activities,” the company continued.
