The Klang Valley is home to many shopping malls – and it’s about to get another one. Introducing the Kuala Lumpur Golf & Country Club (KLGCC) Mall, located within the KLGCC Resort in Bukit Kiara and positioned next to the Sime Darby Convention Centre.
The upcoming mall spans approximately 600,000 sq ft of gross floor area, with 1,000 parking bays. The mall will open its doors in October 2025, marking another addition to the Sime Darby Properties portfolio. Here are some interesting facts about the new mall:
Third Mall Under Sime Darby Properties
KLGCC Mall is Sime Darby Properties’ third fully-owned mall, after KL East Mall and Elmina Lakeside. Given the success of the other two malls, both of which boast full occupancy, the developer hopes that this new mall will follow suit. Thankfully, experts have already predicted that KLGCC Mall will bring in stable income for Sime Darby Properties.
85% Occupancy Rate By Opening Date
In a recent report, KLGCC Mall has confirmed that 85% of its space is already occupied, allowing a satisfactory retail experience for customers from the get-go. There will be over 80 tenants in the mall, including Toys “R” Us, Mokky’s Pizza & Coffee, and Pasta Zanmai. Some tenants are also making their debut in Malaysia, bringing more interest to the new mall.
There Are 5 Anchor Tenants
Out of the 80+ tenants, KLGCC Mall will feature five anchor tenants: Jaya Grocer, Serai Group, ACE Hardware, Asia Ballet Academy and HarborLand. The developer teased that Jaya Grocer will debut its first gourmet-style concept store. Meanwhile, Serai Group will anchor a dedicated lifestyle and dining zone.
The Mall Offers Great Connectivity
Like many successful malls in the Klang Valley, KLGCC Mall offers excellent connectivity via major highways. Visitors can access the new mall via the Federal Highway, Lebuhraya Damansara–Puchong, New Klang Valley Expressway and Sprint Highway. There are also ample parking facilities to accommodate the traffic, even during weekends.
A Hub For Family-Oriented Offerings & Events
More than just a mall with various retail options, the KLGCC Mall aims to be a hub for family-oriented offerings. The developer has confirmed that the mall will feature event-centric spaces such as a rooftop amphitheatre overlooking the golf course. Additionally, there will be a Serai Event Hall, which is perfect for weddings, corporate functions and lifestyle gatherings.
