Ten years after their debut of Youth & Young Manhood, King’s Of Leon’s sixth album Mechanical Bull topped the UK Official Album Charts making this their fourth Number One on the chart.
Exuding somewhat of a fresh and invigorating sense of devotion from the band, Mechanical Bull is instantaneously likeable as compared to its previous album. Less serious with clearer dynamics between its varied rhythms, tones and personal touches, it’s no surprise that the album topped the UK Official Album Charts.
With eleven tracks on the album, we are slapped with the first single Supersoaker that has an intense and unyielding bounder that’s is rocked by Caleb Followill’s ragged vocals. A mature sound can be heard throughout Mechanical Bull that gives fans and listeners a wild, passionate feeling.
Letting lose and having fun while recording this album, Kings Of Leon showed sheer brilliance with their gorgeous tracks. Beautiful grime and grits shines through the ripping of the tracks proving that these Tennessee rockers have not lost their original touch and sound. Hype.My’s personal favourites are Rock City, Beautiful War, Temple and Coming Back Again!
