A security footage allegedly showing the assassination of Kim Jong Nam, the half-brother of North Korea’s leader Kim Jong Un, has emerged on YouTube.

The clip shows a man, who is believed to be the victim, walking into the crowded lobby of Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (klia2). He can be seen looking at flight schedules before moving to a self check-in kiosk. Then, 2 women approach him from opposite directions.

A woman in a white top, who resembles arrested suspect Doan Thi Huong, reaches over his head from behind and covers his face with a cloth. A few seconds later, both women are seen walking away quickly and calmly.

The next scene shows the 46-year-old North Korean seeking help from 2 airport employees at the information counter. The female personnel then takes him to 2 policemen in uniform and he tries to explain the attack using hand gestures. After that, the policemen accompany him to the airport clinic.

According to previous reports, Kim Jong Nam’s attack happened at around 9am on Monday (13th February) as he was catching a 10am flight to Macau. The victim, who had not gone through immigration yet, experienced a mild seizure at the clinic and was rushed to Putrajaya Hospital. Unfortunately, he didn’t make it.

So far, police have arrested 4 people carrying IDs from North Korea, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Vietnam. Deputy national police chief, Noor Rashid Ibrahim, also confirmed that 4 North Korean suspects, who flew out of Malaysia the day Kim Jong Nam died, were on the run.
