While Jisoo has toured the world with BLACKPINK, her sister has found her own ways to travel the globe. During a Q&A session, Ji-yoon revealed that she used to work as a flight attendant but resigned after giving birth to her first child. The airline she worked for and the duration of her employment wasn’t specified.
2. She is an influencer & freelance model
Apart from being a mother of two, Ji-yoon works as an influencer and freelance model. From her Instagram, it’s clear she has attended multiple fashion events for high-end brands such as Gucci and Chanel. As a model, she has posed for brands like d’valisse, Malibu Korea, and Beauty Kurly.
3. She has her own YouTube channel
Aside from creating content for Instagram, Ji-yoon posts lifestyle vlogs on YouTube, covering topics like travel, makeup tutorials, and Q&As. Her channel is still fairly new but growing, with over 17.9k subscribers so far.
Despite being related to one of the most popular K-pop idols, Ji-yoon only featured Jisoo for the first time in her latest vlog (in the form of a photo), proving that she doesn’t take advantage of her sister’s fame.

Talent really does run in the family. Jiyoon used to upload videos of her covering her favourite songs. Unfortunately, most of the videos are no longer available but thankfully, some fans managed to save a few and re-uploaded those clips online.
5. She and her husband wrote love letters to each other
Sometimes, sending messages to someone the old-fashioned way is the way to their heart. In one of her vlogs, Ji-yoon revealed that she started dating her husband in 2014 when she was still working as a flight attendant. The two exchanged love letters a month into their relationship. Sadly, most of the letters are gone when they moved house but it’s still a sweet story to share.
