Budaya Raya Launch At Pavilion KL With Siti Nurhaliza

Pavilion KL transformed its Centre Court into a breathtaking homage to Malaysia’s rich heritage for the launch of its Raya campaign, “Budaya Raya” – and we were front and centre at the event. The theme honours the traditions that define Malaysia’s multicultural identity, reflecting the nation’s diverse yet harmonious spirit. One of the highlights of the launch ceremony was a special performance by the one and only Biduanita Negara, Dato Sri Siti Nurhaliza!

Adding a special touch to the festivities, the ‘Steps of Legacy’ showcase at the Spanish Steps offers a stunning tribute to Malaysia’s No.1 singer. This one-of-a-kind exhibition takes visitors on a journey through her illustrious career, highlighting iconic moments, while revealing her personal Raya memories of family, gratitude, and tradition. Glow Raya Bersama Kiehl’s

Kiehl’s hosted an exclusive Glow Raya event at the stunning EQ KL, bringing together beauty enthusiasts and skincare aficionados for an unforgettable evening. The event was a beautiful fusion of skincare, Raya traditions, and delicious food, creating the perfect atmosphere for guests to celebrate the season in style.

In addition to highlighting two star products – Daily Re-texturizing Triple Acid Peel (to refine skin texture) and Dark Spot Solution (to reduce the appearance of dark spots), Kiehl’s treated attendees to a delectable buka puasa buffet. Guests were treated to a spread of traditional Malaysian dishes, including mouthwatering rendang, aromatic nasi minyak, and crispy ayam goreng, alongside fresh salads, cooling desserts, and an assortment of local delicacies. The buffet provided a perfect opportunity to bond, share stories, and indulge in the flavors of Raya, all while celebrating the joy of the season with a glowing skin outlook, thanks to Kiehl’s. Fiziwoo Raya Collection 2025 Showcase

We joined Fiziwoo for the unveiling of its Raya 2025 collection – and we were blown away! Fiziwoo is celebrating a decade of crafting exquisite Raya RTW collections by taking a heartfelt look back at ten years of challenges, triumphs, and unforgettable moments. Journey: Raya 25 is a tribute to this remarkable journey, drawing inspiration from Fiziwoo’s most beloved Raya designs. Delving into their archives, the designers have reimagined iconic silhouettes, blending nostalgia with modern elegance to offer fresh, elevated versions of fan-favourite pieces.

This year’s theme is inspired by the enchanting allure of old Arabic souks, infused with the timeless beauty and rich cultural essence of Saudi Arabia – captured during the designer’s Umrah pilgrimage. The Journey collection is Fiziwoo’s most expansive Raya release yet, featuring 32 stunning womenswear SKUs and 50 refined menswear SKUs.

Pricing for womenswear ranges from RM538 to RM788, while menswear is available from RM188 to RM348.00 -ensuring there’s something for everyone in this milestone collection.

Bergaya Raya x Kalima At Fahrenheit88

We had an exclusive look at Fahrenheit88’s Bergaya Raya x Kalima event – an enchanting evening brimming with fashion, culture, and festive cheer. The affair showcased a stunning collection of modest wear by Kalima, celebrating elegance and tradition. Guests had the opportunity to visit the brooch-making booth, where they could craft and personalise their own brooches, adding a unique touch to their ensemble.

In partnership with Bath & Body Works, attendees were also invited to explore the brand’s latest Raya collection, indulging in delightful fragrances and luxurious self-care essentials.

JAC T9 Pickup Truck Launch

Evolvelectric Motors officially launched the JAC T9 double-cab lineup at a glittering event at 1Utama Shopping Centre, and we had a blast getting to know the truck. Featuring an efficient diesel-powered Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) variant and a cutting-edge Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) model, the JAC T9 combines bold styling, a luxurious interior, advanced technology and outstanding performance, and sets a new benchmark for the pickup truck market.

The T9 2.0L diesel variant is the only pickup truck in Malaysia to achieve a 5-star Australasian New Car Assessment Program (ANCAP) safety rating under the latest scoring methodology. Meanwhile, the T9 BEV stands as the first 4X4 electric pickup truck in Malaysia. Watch what went down at the launch:

TMT Megastore Launch At Sunway Pyramid

Last Friday was made megatech Friday with the opening of the largest TMT outlet by Thunder Match Megastore at Sunway Pyramid! This 15,000 square feet retail experience is filled with interactive zones that let customers try out anything – from the spiciest flagship smartphones and laptops, to racing simulation rigs and home theater systems. In short, this place has it all. The store features gaming RGB lighting-inspired decor and various hands-on experience areas for different categories of tech. This truly is a one-stop shop for all things tech. Here’s what went down at the launch:

Converse Turns Chuck Taylors Into Wearable Masterpieces

Sneakers meet fine art in Creative Exploration, Converse MY’s latest effort to spotlight young Malaysian artists. Teaming up with Balai Seni Negara, UiTM, and MIA, the initiative gives art students a chance to turn Chuck Taylors into statement pieces – literally. Their creations will be exhibited at Art Depot before landing in select Converse stores, because nothing says “wearable art” like, well, actual art on sneakers. The launch event was a veritable creative playground with edgy designs, artsy crowd energy, and at least one person trying to explain why their shoe belongs in a gallery.

And speaking of galleries, KL is having a full-blown “let’s put it in an exhibition” moment. From fashion to coffee culture to someone’s meticulously-arranged collection of vintage keychains, everything is getting the curated treatment. Pop-ups and immersive showcases are everywhere, turning everyday objects into aesthetic experiences.

Beraya Di Kota Raya @ The Curve


This Raya season, the Curve invites visitors to relive the nostalgia of 90s Raya celebrations with ‘Beraya di Kota Raya’. Running from now to 6th April, the campaign transforms the Centre Court into a vibrant retro bus terminal, celebrating the nostalgic charm of Raya in the city. A key highlight of the setup is the iconic pink minibus, a familiar sight in the Klang Valley and a beloved part of Malaysia’s transportation history. Complementing the nostalgic theme is a traditional Rumah Biru-inspired kampung house, reminiscent of the classic wooden homes of Kampung Baru, as well as old-school bus stops, ticket counters, and a 90s Raya setup that beautifully captures the charm of past celebrations.

In keeping with its commitment to championing local entrepreneurs, the Curve welcomes over 100 Raya booths, including more than 10 celebrity booths, offering a diverse selection of Raya outfits, accessories, festive cookies, and Juadah Berbuka Puasa throughout the mall.

To accommodate the festive crowd, the Curve will extend its operating hours until 12am during the last week of Ramadan, giving visitors more time to shop, dine, and prepare for the festivities. From nostalgic decorations, vibrant cultural performances, meaningful CSR initiatives, and a bustling Raya marketplace, the Curve’s ‘Beraya di Kota Raya’ offers a truly special festive experience. Visitors can immerse themselves in the charm of past Raya celebrations, rekindle cherished memories, and create new moments of joy with their loved ones.

“Beautiful Malaysia” Showcase At Grandmama’s

Heritage fashion is making a stylish comeback, and it’s not just for Raya anymore. At “Beautiful Malaysia”, designers like Farel Mikhail and Norariffin D’Jejari Emas showed how batik, songket, and intricate embroidery can be reimagined into modern, wearable pieces.

Gone are the days when traditional fabrics felt too “formal” or “old-school” – these new designs blend culture with contemporary flair, proving that embracing our roots has never looked this good. If this trend sticks, we might just see more kebaya-streetwear crossovers hitting the mainstream (and we’re totally here for it).
