JessC is back, and she’s stronger than ever. Marking a full-scale evolution and a fiery comeback, the singer returned to Kuala Lumpur on 20th December at Mega Star Arena with an upgraded encore edition of her “My Style” concert. Following the overwhelming success of her May performance at Genting’s Arena of Stars, this latest show raised the bar in every aspect, from stage production and setlist depth to emotional intensity, once again captivating a packed house of fans.
The upgraded concert ran for an astonishing three and a half hours, during which the artist delivered a performance of 40 songs without holding back. Emotions built progressively, energy surged from start to finish, and the night unfolded as a powerful convergence of music, emotion, and life force. The setlist spanned five languages — Mandarin, Malay, English, Japanese, and Cantonese — showcasing her remarkable multilingual versatility and international outlook.
One of the night’s highlights saw JessC duet with the male lead of the stage play “Tearless Sky on The Most Beautiful Place at the End of the World”. She then warmly declared, “Malaysia is the best place,” a simple sentence that instantly ignited heartfelt resonance throughout the arena. She also performed the Japanese song Koibito as a special dedication to fans who had travelled all the way from Japan, turning the atmosphere tender and deeply moving as emotions flowed quietly through her music.
The singer’s thoughtful setlist reflected her deep appreciation for her fans. Responding to years of requests, she finally included “Beloved Friend” and “Heartbeatz”, fulfilling long-held wishes. From opening to finale, the concert maintained electrifying momentum. Familiar melodies sparked massive sing-alongs, glow sticks rippled like waves, and cheers and applause filled the arena.
Midway through the show came a major surprise: legendary Malaysian songstress Fauziah Latif made a special appearance, sending the crowd into a frenzy. The two first performed the classic “Tak Terpisah”, their powerhouse vocals intertwining with depth and intensity. They then followed with “Dia”, another Malay classic. JessC revealed that this song had long been Fauziah Latif’s wish to perform together on stage, making this collaboration a long-awaited dream fulfilled — and one of the most touching, memorable moments of the night.
For the encore, she delivered a rock version of “Starry Sky”, closing the concert on a triumphant high. Fans surged toward the front of the stage, emotions overflowing, as the show concluded amid thunderous applause and deafening cheers. As a token of appreciation, every concertgoer received a commemorative “JessC Series” red packet.
She also took the opportunity to extend early New Year wishes, blessing fans with grace and abundance as the night came to a warm and meaningful close. Looking ahead, JessC revealed that her next focus will be a Malaysia tour. Having just returned from Australia, she shared how deeply she misses fans across the country and hopes to reconnect with them up close before planning future overseas tours — continuing to spread music and healing to even farther corners of the world.
