“I have a pen, I have a apple, Uh! Apple pen!”

Japanese viral sensation PIKOTARO (ピコ太郎) is coming to Malaysia, for Pavilion Kuala Lumpur’s first ever “Japan Expo Malaysia 2017” (JEMY 2017), an immersive 3-day All-Japan event which gathers Japan’s most iconic cultures, music, anime, art, fashion, food, travel and live entertainment to Malaysia.

Organised by G-Yu Creative Company, JEMY 2017 takes place from the 28th to 30th July 2017 to coincide with Tokyo Street’s 6th Anniversary celebration. Revel in all things Japanese under one roof at Pavilion KL and Fahrenheit 88 for unforgettable free entertainment and excitement all weekend.

Popular for his viral song, PPAP, better known as “Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen”, PIKOTARO will be performing for the first time in Malaysia at this event. If you’ve always wanted to meet-and-greet the energetic viral-hit Japanese star in person, then you most definitely need to be there!

There will also be special performances and appearances by Shigeru Matsuzaki, Maito from King Creamsoda, Ryoma Quartet, Naomichi Hanazono, Haruka Yamashita and Reon Kurosaki. Fans will also get the chance to rub shoulders with famous cosplayer Minori who will head the cosplayer parade at JEMY 2017.

Across Pavilion KL, Fahrenheit88 will also be hosting over 15 booths promoting Japanese food, education and many more. Look for exciting opportunities to study in Japan or try the popular Japanese thick egg hot sandwich.
