Artists are no strangers to receiving odd gifts. After all, there are some really crazy fans out there. However, Korean-American rapper Jay Park’s reaction to this strange gift has certainly delighted many fans!
Jay Park aka Park Jae-beom (박재범) was performing at Taiwan’s Spaceport (太空港) Festival yesterday (10th October). As the closing act, the rapper made sure to spice up his fans’ night with a saucy performance. Well, one fan decided to give back to the singer by gifting him a bra! We have to admit, the rapper took the gift well.
It has reportedly been three years since Jay Park last set foot in Taiwan. But, he didn’t disappoint his Taiwanese fans with his return. During his performance yesterday, Jay Park amazed fans with his vocals for hits like “Solo”, “Yacht” and “All I Wanna Do”.
However, fans were most delighted with his “Mommae” performance as the rapper really went wild then. Jay Park stripped off his shirt after the song’s prelude to the excited screams of fans. While he showcased his toned body, fans got to enjoy the song and the sight.
At one point in the song, Jay Park teasingly referred to his fans as “sexy girls” which is part of the song’s original lyrics. However, the scene excited some fans so much that they flung their bras on stage! Well, Jay Park wasn’t phased by it raining bras, in fact, he stopped to pick a few up and draped them over his shoulders. The singer then finished with the bras hanging off his shoulders, even taking care to pose with them.
Jay Park later continued picking up more underwear thrown on stage after he invited his friend, singer Nick Chou (周汤豪) to join him. Much to fans’ amusement, he ended up dumping the lingerie into Nick’s hands.
