Most concerts are held at weekends, which is, of course, ideal. However, sometimes you might want to get away halfway through the week, perhaps take a day off to enjoy yourself. So, if you are looking for something to do on a Wednesday night and have the following day to rest, we might just have the thing for you.
It has been announced that Japanese singer-songwriter Takase Toya (高瀬統也) will be bringing his “8” world tour to Kuala Lumpur this September. This will be the first time the artist is performing in Malaysia, and fans are eager to see what he has in store for his upcoming show.

Takase Toya made his debut in 2014, performing under the stage name TO-YA. He later re-debuted as Takase Toya in 2019. His third full-length album, “8”, features roughly half of the songs he wrote during his teenage years. In 2025, marking the 12th year of his music career, and drawing on a deep understanding of his own experiences, he created the album with the intention of presenting the most authentic version of himself.
This highly anticipated upcoming performance promises to deliver a unique and unforgettable experience, blending his raw emotions and electrifying energy. Don’t miss this opportunity to immerse yourself in his vibrant and boundary-breaking musical world, filled with diverse genres and unparalleled creativity. Details of the concert are as below:
