GOT7 member and Hong Kong idol Jackson Wang (王嘉爾/왕잭슨) has always been a much-loved celebrity. Be it for his talent, good looks or amiable personality, there is no denying that he’s managed to garner plenty of fans.
However, he apparently isn’t the apple of everyone’s eye. Recently, a photo of Jackson Wang lying a bed had netizens wondering if this was an exposé for something. Luckily for the idol, his fans were quick to step in with an explanation for said photo.
A few days ago, rumours of Jackson Wang having slept with someone after his concert in London started circulating on the internet. Things got worse when said rumours were accompanied by a photo of Jackson sleeping in a bed. Some felt the intimate looking photo was similar to other celebs who had suffered form the same fate.
But, fans were quick to respond to the rumours, vehemently denying them. According to the fans, the photo uploaded was not the full picture. Jackson had apparently taken that photo with men’s magazine GQ China. “Please don’t take it out of context, (to) make up stories!” one fan pleaded. They also pointed out the lamps used as lighting in the photoshoot. “Who sleeps with a small lamp on the bed!!” they exclaimed.
Most were relived to hear the story had been fabricated. But, others also took the opportunity to gush over Jackson’s good looks. “It might not be the right time for it, (but) I really want to say that he is so handsome and seductive,” one comment read. Others also pointed out that it should be fine for Jackson to have a one night stand if he wishes.
Well, it’s nice to see that Jackson Wang’s fans have got his back! The 29-year-old himself has not commented on the issue, but he’s never been one for gossip and he’s currently busy with his “Magic Man” tour. Jackson has previously shared his hopes for his love life, and we sincerely wish him all the best for it!
