Jackie Chan’s illegitimate daughter, Etta Ng, recently came out as gay on Instagram by posting a photo of her silhouette against a rainbow backdrop.
Since the announcement, Etta and her girlfriend, Andi Autumn, have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of support from netizens from all over the world. The couple, who are currently living together in a Hong Kong rented flat, has vowed to continue the fight for the LGBT community.

For those that don’t know, Etta is the daughter of Jackie Chan and former Hong Kong beauty queen Elaine Ng. She was raised in Shanghai before the mother-daughter duo returned to Hong Kong in 2011. Since the news was made public, Jackie has publicly declared that he doesn’t plan on leaving anything in his will to Etta.
In addition to the followers, Elaine has also said that she respects her daughter’s choice and is glad that she has finally found happiness in Andi. Over the past month, Etta and Andi have been photographed walking hand-in-hand and embracing each other in public. We’re also happy that Etta is in a better state seeing as how she tried to commit suicide while vacationing in Thailand earlier this year.
