The luxury footwear brand, Jimmy Choo, has recently revealed a new storytelling series called “Choo Stories,” debuting with the Grammy- and Brit Award-winning British musician.

The official description of the project explains, “With a film-first approach, Choo Stories combines conversation and moving image content to share the true stories shared by Jimmy Choo’s community globally.”
Choo Stories celebrates the moments and memories that Jimmy Choo shoes are attached to, narrating stories through the personal lens of each protagonist. Interconnected themes of transformation, confidence, self-expression, craftsmanship, and mastery will be explored.
For Dean’s chapter launching the series, Choo Stories features behind-the-scenes footage from the singer-songwriter’s “The Art of Loving” world tour, during which she exclusively wore custom and ready-to-wear Jimmy Choo shoes designed by creative director Sandra Choi. The footage takes the viewer backstage and behind the scenes of Jimmy Choo’s London design studio, presenting the relationship between maker and muse.
Choi mentioned in a statement, “Designing for Olivia meant designing for movement. She dances through every show, so the shoes had to feel as effortless as she looks on stage while carrying all the glamour of the moment. Watching them travel with her from backstage into the spotlight, night after night, has been a huge honor.”
Meanwhile, Dean said of the brand, “Jimmy Choo is always so spot on — I just think it’s in a league of its own. They’re so timeless; having a Jimmy Choo shoe is like the prize in your wardrobe. They make me feel powerful and sexy; they can be so fun.”
