For those who don’t know, Bukit Tunku Viewpoint has been the go-to “healing space” for Malaysians since 2019. The hillside area is the perfect spot for people to enjoy the calming and picturesque view of the KL city, especially during early morning or even nighttime.

However, the internet community was ablaze after videos showing the recent condition of the Bukit Tunku Viewpoint made its way online. Netizens took to TikTok to share videos of the hillside spot being covered with construction hoardings.

“Our healing space is no longer here, guys. Bye-bye Bukit Tunku,” TikTok user @fourzyzylqnn wrote in his post. Another TikToker @wayyanz revealed, “Bukit Tunku Viewpoint was one of the best spots for me. It was my healing spot, my good memories and so much more. It’s sad that they are blocking it once beautiful view. enjoying it the last time before it is gone.”

The videos have since gone viral online, garnering over 100k views on TikTok. Scrolling through the comments, most netizens were feeling disheartened after the news came out. Some of the comments left by them include, “There are so many memories there,” “Now I have no place to scream out my frustration,” and “This was my favourite healing spot; what a bummer.”
