A couple of months ago, it was officially announced that Korean label You.Will.Knovv (유윌노우) would be performing in Malaysia later this year, with 3 notable acts, Tabber (태버), Rad Museum (라드 뮤지엄) and Miso (김미소), included in the line-up. The concert is scheduled for 4th October at Zepp Kuala Lumpur, and fans have been eagerly awaiting the day to enjoy a night of fun and energetic music.

However, rumours have been circulating that another artist may be joining the upcoming show. Is it true? Let’s find out:

Earlier this week, fans noticed that South Korean alternative R&B singer-rapper DEAN (권혁), or Deantrbl, shared the poster for You.Will.Knovv’s upcoming Kuala Lumpur concert on his Instagram Story. This sparked speculation that the artist might also be heading to Malaysia, possibly as a guest performer for the show. This wouldn’t be all that surprising since the 32-year-old is also signed under the music label.

Since sharing the poster on Instagram Story, fans have expressed excitement at the possibility of DEAN joining the line-up, or at least appearing as a guest performer for one of the acts. If the rumours prove to be true, it would mark the singer’s fourth visit to Malaysia, following performances in 2016, 2018 and most recently in 2024.

At the time of writing, there has been no confirmation or further indication that DEAN will be joining his labelmates in Kuala Lumpur. If he was hinting at it, he may well be trying to keep it a surprise so the moment becomes a highlight of the upcoming concert. If you had no plans to attend the show originally, will the possibility of Dean making an appearance make you reconsider?
