As you may already know, Grammy Award-winner Miley Cyrus recently released a new single titled “Dream As One”, which serves as the official theme song for the highly anticipated upcoming film “Avatar: Fire and Ashes”. As an artist featured on the soundtrack, it was only natural for her to be invited to the red carpet premiere.
The former Disney star arrived at the event with her long-time boyfriend, Maxx Morando, smiling and posing for the cameras, but many were quick to notice a particularly shiny ring on her finger. Are the two now engaged? Here’s what we know:
Earlier today (Tuesday, 2nd December), Miley Cyrus and Maxx Morando attended the “Avatar: Fire and Ashes” red carpet premiere at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. The former Disney star was seen wearing multiple rings on both hands, but the one on her ring finger drew the most attention, sparking engagement rumours among fans.
If the couple’s appearance at the event didn’t ignite speculation, an Instagram post certainly did. Maxx Morando’s father shared a photo of the pair at what appears to be the singer’s 33rd birthday celebration at an undisclosed restaurant, with a caption that reads: “Congratulations! ❤️💍🍾🎉 @mileycyrus @mmaxxm”. It is unclear whether the account was set to private afterwards or had always been private, but regardless, it’s obvious that one of his followers seemingly could not resist sharing the post with the rest of the world.
At the time of writing, neither Miley nor Maxx has confirmed the rumoured engagement, but that hasn’t stopped fans from congratulating them on social media. Many expressed their excitement for the “Flowers” songstress, wishing the couple a long and happy marriage. A few speculated that the secret engagement is probably the reason why Selena Gomez wished her “HAPPIEST OF BDAYS!!” on her IG post a week ago.
