The infamous YouTube channel “Sojang” is back with another shocking piece of news. This time, they claim that Kim Nam Joon (김남준), a.k.a RM from BTS, is getting married!
According to the YouTuber, the alleged “girlfriend” of the idol had dished to a close acquaintance of her that she was going to tie the knot with him. Additionally, the marriage rumour was also spread on a Korean-American community platform online called “Missy US”.
In this case, it appears that the aforementioned community site was also responsible for exposing Seo Tai Ji’s past marriage with “Penthouse” actress Lee Ji Ah back in 2006. When the news first broke out, no one actually believed that the veteran idol was actually married. However, it was later proven to be true. Apart from Seo Tai Ji, another rumour surrounding a celebrity couple’s secret marriage was also brought to light by the online site, which was also later proven to be true.
With that being the case, Sojang pointed out that the recent rumour involving RM is likely to be true. In their video, they revealed that a netizen shared that they heard something absurd from a friend of theirs. The netizen said that the acquaintance has a friend who claimed that she was getting married to the “Butter” rapper.
The YouTube channel also spilled some details about RM’s rumoured lover. It is said that the woman was a fan of BTS. The “couple” reportedly first met at a fan-meeting event that she has been attending since 2014. In addition, Sojang also disclosed that RM’s GF was a graduate of the prestigious Ivy League University.
Nonetheless, many still remain skeptical of the rumour, as it’s only based on a KakaoTalk screenshot shared by the netizen. On the other hand, there were also a handful of netizens who were convinced that the rumour could be true, as the rumours of Seo Taiji’s previous marriage with Lee Ji Ah that were proven to be true by this community.
