Famous Indonesian singer, Afgan Syah Reza, returned to Malaysia for his “Evolution Live” concert over the weekend. The two-hour show was held at the Plenary Hall in KLCC and attended by approximately 2,800 concertgoers.

Some fans were lucky enough to take part in a meet-and-greet session with Afgan after the concert ended. Among them was local celeb, Intan Najuwa, who took to her Instagram to share her excitement upon meeting the heartthrob up close.

Intan uploaded a video taken during her short-and-sweet meeting with the “Terima Kasih Cinta” singer after the concert. Afgan can be seen waiting on the small stage, as Intan – who looked stunning in a purple suit – carefully made her way to the man of the hour. After a brief exchange, the former then wrapped his arm over Intan’s shoulder and posed for the cameras.

The post was immediately flooded with plenty of reactions from netizens. Some of them were understandably jealous after seeing the interaction between Intan and Afgan. But there were also some who reacted negatively to the post. Many accused the “Jesnita” star of crossing the line over her ‘intimate’ interaction with the singer. So far, neither Intan nor Afgan have addressed the backlash.

This is not the first time Afgan has been the subject of controversy over a friendly gesture. Prior to this, the 33-year-old balladeer came under fire after a video of him hugging Malaysian songstress Yuna was posted online.
