Bang Si Hyuk (방시혁), also known as Hitman Bang, is the genius behind the existence of the most sensational K-pop boy group, BTS (방탄소년단). Hence, the man’s inclusion in the list of South Korea’s 50 wealthiest individuals is not surprising. Bang Si Hyuk’s wealth is a reflection of his extraordinary success in the entertainment industry. As the mastermind behind multiple successful K-Pop groups and the founder of HYBE Corporation, formerly known as Big Hit Entertainment, his financial growth has been rocketing.
A testament to his wealth, the millionaire purchased a USD$26.4 million (RM121,671,101) mansion in Bel-Air, a neighbourhood in Los Angeles, in April 2023. The mansion, formerly owned by the South African comedian Trevor Noah, was put up for sale in 2022, and the HYBE chairman became its new owner.

The Bel-Air is one of the most exclusive neighbourhoods in Los Angeles and is well-known for its lavish real estate and famous residents. The home itself has a number of opulent features, such as large living areas, recreational spaces, and breathtaking views of the surroundings.
The USD$26.4 million (RM121,671,101) mansion also provides a wide range of facilities. Some of them that come with the property include a movie theatre, a fully equipped gym, a serene outdoor pool and spa, as well as beautifully-designed landscaping that adds to the charm of the mansion. However, it’s reported that the house will mainly serve as a studio for Bang Si Hyuk and other producers in HYBE.

It’s no wonder that the rich and famous, including Bang Si Hyuk himself, have made Los Angeles their home, as this city truly has it all. As fans eagerly await new music from HYBE artists, they can rest assured that the chairman’s unlimited resources and creative vision will continue to produce impressive and innovative works.
