The businessman previously denied allegations of having an affair with an employee and shared his side of the story via Instagram Stories. While his wife chose to remain silent as they worked through their issues privately, it appears their efforts were ultimately unsuccessful.
Earlier today (Wednesday, 9 October), Cik Epal announced on her Instagram that she will be divorcing her husband after 10 years of marriage. Here’s what she said:
In the short simple post, the public figure informed her followers that she and Jofliam would be heading their separate ways. “After 10 years together, our love story sadly ends here. With God’s blessing, I have filed for divorce. Thank you for all you’ve done. Everything happens for a reason. Though we’re no longer together, it doesn’t mean the memories we made were wasted. This is what God had planned for us,” she wrote.
In addition to her announcement post, Cik Epal shared several Instagram Stories featuring lyrics from popular breakup songs, including Ghea Indrawari’s “Teramini” and Cakra Khan’s “Mencari Cinta Sejati.” The choice of songs suggests that the mother-of-two is serious about the separation. Fans were heartbroken by the news and have since flooded the influencer’s post with messages hoping for a reconciliation between her and Jofliam. Others condemned the alleged homewrecker for disrupting their favourite celebrity couple’s marriage.
Meanwhile, Jofliam hinted at his divorce last night after posting an IG Story with his son last night with a caption that reads, “A father-to-son talk for the last time. I love you, Han and I love you, Yuki”. In addition to this, he announced the closure of his Pizza Wagyu business, which has been impacted by the controversy surrounding his marriage.
Shortly after Cik Epal made her announcement, he confirmed the news of their divorce, stating that he had done everything he could to save the marriage and expressing gratitude for everyone’s support.
